Terms of Service

By using Reverence, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

The service

Reverence provides AI-assisted sermon notes — recording, transcription, and summarization of sermon audio you upload. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations and is not theological counsel. Always verify important quotations and references against authoritative sources, and consult your pastor or spiritual director for guidance.

Subscriptions and billing

• Subscriptions are auto-renewing, available on monthly or annual terms, billed through the App Store or Play Store.
• You may cancel at any time via your App Store or Play Store account settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next renewal.
• Refunds are governed by Apple's and Google's respective refund policies. We are unable to issue refunds directly.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you do not have the right to record or share.
• Do not use Reverence for illegal, abusive, harassing, or harmful content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual property

You retain full ownership of your sermon recordings, transcripts, and notes. By using Reverence, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you (for example, generating transcripts and summaries). This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

Disclaimer of warranties

Reverence is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reverence's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [your state/country], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
