What is Reverence?
Reverence is an iOS app that helps you record, transcribe, and reflect on sermons. It turns spoken word into searchable, shareable notes you can revisit anytime.
Is Reverence free?
Reverence is currently in private beta. We are exploring a simple, honest pricing model that respects your budget and the value of the service. Early-access users will be notified before any paid plans launch.
How do I record a sermon?
Open the app, tap the record button, and let Reverence capture the audio. When you are finished, tap stop and the recording will upload securely for transcription.
Can I use Reverence without an internet connection?
Recording works offline. Transcription and summary generation require an internet connection so our systems can process your audio securely.
Where is my data stored?
Your sermon recordings and transcripts are stored securely via encrypted cloud storage. We do not share your content with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account or data?
You can delete individual sermons from the app at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us at hello@reverence.app.
What audio formats are supported?
Reverence records in standard AAC format. You can also import existing audio files (MP3, M4A, WAV) from other sources.
Is my content private?
Yes. Your recordings and notes are private to your account. We only access audio files to generate transcripts and summaries. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Reporting a Problem
If you encounter a bug or the app is not working as expected, please include the following in your email:
- Your device model and iOS version
- A brief description of what happened
- Steps to reproduce the issue, if possible
